Polish born Frank Wojnarowski formed the Frank Wojnarowski Orchestra in 1940 with his sister Eleanore as vocalist and Frank on the violin.
A recording session with Dana Records in 1947 and the first record "Bije Mamcia" followed shortly with the successful recording of "Jedzie Boat." This record touched off the polka craze in New England.
Wojnarowski's popular recordings were "Goral," "Jasiu, Jasiu", Rozmaria" and many others Frank wrote, sang and recorded including "Matka" for which he received a gold record award.
Frank recorded for Silverbells, Dyno and RMI when Dana Records sold its company and discontinued making records.
The band traveled far and wide in the United States and Canada performing at Polish festivals, polka dances and a variety of P
