Prof.Biography.I am a historian whose work has strong interdisciplinary foundations.This study explores the Japanese motivations in raising the proposal for racial equality at the Paris Peace Conference.In several chapters throughout the book, Shimazu analyzes her topic from the perspective of media history.[1] She is a Fernand Braudel fellow at the European University Institute.
