Senator, and First Lady of the United States. As a child she was considered to be a teacher's favorite. She participated in swimming, baseball, and other sports. She also won numerous awards as a Brownie and Girl Scout. In highschool she was involved in the student council, school newspaper, and was selected for the National Honor Society.
She graduated in the top 5% of her class in 1965.
